Be inspired – crutches don’t have to slow you down!

Crutches can be a drag. Hard work on the arms and slowing you down if you’re out and about. But it doesn’t have to be like that! Now we’re not seriously suggesting that you try this yourselves, but it’s nice to imagine whizzing in and out of the pedestrians on your roller skates or
skate board, crutches in hand.

Here’s Bill Shannon – a master on his specially adapted crutches with or without a skateboard (see the video at the end of this blog)

We’re not sure if this one counts – the crutches might just be a cunning way of keeping his balance whilst he’s learning

And here’s that video. Bill Shannon just floats on his crutches and looks like he’s on a skateboard even when he isn’t. Originally recorded as a television advert for Visa (you might catch the logos if you look carefully). Amazing!
